Re: BT broadband speeds - Read on

BT BB went way over my limit last month by 30 it is all Sky's fault as i lose my signal in the summer due to leaves on the trees, that another bug bear Been using my Wii to watch iPlayer.

So, need to cancel Sky and upgrade BB!! Can't stand the fact i have to sign up for a 1/2 year contract.

Will try phone off tho - good tip

Yeah and it's costing a small fortune with BT because I've got the Max BB package. I need to workout how much I'm spending each month on Sky+, BT + BB.

yep

bear in mind you don't get that from downloads, except peer to peer that is. the uploads form the far end just arn't quick enough to cope with the download rate my end. only way to get anywhere near that download rate normaly is multiple files at sme time, whcih the connections great for hehe

but does make for fast surfing etc

Well I spoke to Virgin today and I can't have fibre obtic because the cable doesn't streach to my part of the village, what ever I do I am going to have to use the BT line.

This annoys me even more. It comes down to cost obviously and mere mortals wont get it until costs come down or demand is too great. See companies like Virgin wait for BT to install first then use.

I work in IT and Telecoms (admin) and install and use BT Business BB all it costs is 30 a month for the max product and you can use to network and connect two sites together, depending on exchange location and other factors
