Does anyone have a tracker installed?

I have just been told that I need a tracker for my car and insurance..

I have been into a local store which deals with anything electrical and they recommended as they fit them, the Meta SAT GPA800 system..

Its a really cool little unit and theres no subcription fee involved. The outlay is a little hefty tho at 550 (including installation) but I guess its something I will have to have regardless.

I was just wondering what people thought about the unit and whether or not they might have had any 'experience' with it? Its all approved by the insurance companies so thats not a problem either.. Cheaper insurance one can hope!

Thanks for the advice as always...

This is true, but like one of the guys sig's say, 'drive it like it stolen' or something isnt it?!

If I get the tracker fitted, I can send messages to it so that it will arm the immobiliser and so on.. Rather cool stuff.. But if it helps with security, I cant see it being a bad thing... I dont want some git taking my car! I have major plans so sort that thing out!

What about this?

I have been told that a new security system is coming out in the next few weeks and offers (apparently) better protection with theft.
Its called Matrix5 and its a Thatcham Cat5 system. It would cost 700 and the life time subcription costs 400 or you can pay 150 a year instead.

This is the link to it

I was just wondering what anyone might think or suggest?
