Tiny DV Camcorder 30fps 720x480 - Smallest in the world

Got one of these last week when it was on offer for 16.00 Foehn & Hirsch Tiny DV Camcorder 30fps 720x480 - Smallest in the world - Ebuyer

I must say that it's quite cool. I think you can get them from ebay still for 20.00 delivered. Been setting it up today and trying to mount it securely inside car ready for a track day. It comes with a whole host of brackets and everything you need, it's the size of a thumb! It can be clipped and then cable tied to the grille on the front of a scooby. So when it's dry i'll go out and take some footage.
It records sound and vision for up to 2 hours. I just had to get a class 6 micro SD card for it.

Endless possibilities due to its size, i've even thought of putting on the cat to see what it gets up to when it goes out

good find though! it's actually really good for the money, no hassle to set up and use. every time you press stop/record it makes a new file. it even comes with video player software

i got one just to use for trackdays. Hopefully if its dry i'll clip it to the front grill. I've managed tonight to remove the window blower grill in the car and have cable tied a bracket onto it for inside car use. the idea being it could be used when raining. But what i didn't fore see was that the wipers don't go down to the corner of the window so all the footage i got earlier today was covered by a rain drenched windscreen with rain drops all over the picture - lol - bleeding useless!

Re: Tiny DV Camcorder 30fps 720x480 - Smallest in the world

it's most definately wworth it. Just make sure you get a Class 6 micro SD card to go with it (preferably 8gb - this is the maximum it will take). I've made a mounting point on the blower grill on the corner of the dash. It will clip to a sun visor fairly securely, and i can't wait to clip and cable tie it to the front grille when the weather dries up. HIGHLY recomended! for about 30 all in it's great. every time you press record or stop it just creates a new file automatically. the battery will last upto 2 hours of recording and the 8gb card is pleeeenty for this. Just drag the files into Windows Movie Maker and it's a piece of p;ss to make a movie. The camera is smaller than your thumb.
