hid conversion

Hi, we have bugeye imprezas (2001) with morette headlights which mean we need H7 bulbs. We have had HID kits before and they have been a bit dodgy, working when they felt like it sometimes. When we contact suppliers they just say that we need H4 bulbs (or whatever the standard fitments are) but we need H7s cause of the morettes. Also does anyone know any decent kits, that don't cost a fortune, that last longer than 6 months? Cause we have had 3 sets each already. Do we need canbus HID kits or just the standard ones?

Re: hid conversion

Hi, You will always struggle to get good light output from the units you have as there is such a small reflector in them,
Also adding the HID bulbs you have to be aware of the heat build up.
