Bad Luck

Was suppose to be getting car mapped today went out yesterday morning to car tried to engage clutch just went to floor tried for leaks all ok had a problem engaging first Problem engaging first gear went away after new slave cylinder and spring at top for release lever and a new spring on gearchange rod gearbox side replaced these car felt great but then this morning stripped out the Master cylinder the seals are f**ked in it theirs bearly enough fluid coming out to push the slave cylinder so nothing I can do just hope I can source a Master cylinder in time for christmas or it be off the road till part comes in from subaru and they close Wednesday for Christmas just my luck lost half my deposit for mapping and will have to wait till end of Jan now or start of Feb

Sorry to hear that Darren. Shitty time of year for things to wrong too with everywhere closing down for xmas.

Good luck sourcing a master cylinder mate.

that's real crap news mate. you may remember the first time my brother got his car mapped this summer he ran into problems. It also happened to me on my classic, got 60% throttle and my clutch gave up and could not take the power. Nightmare. There's never a good time for these things to happen.

Feck it.... Sorry to hear about your Mast Cyl... I hope you get it sorted soon Darren.... this site has had some bad luck and recently

Im thinking of calling in a Priest to have it exorcised of it's demons

Thanks for all the comments guys got a clutch master cylinder from Subaru today had it on the shelf thought it be out of stock, back on the road now
