Camera again

I know I mentioned it in the "Been playing thread" but Im still looking at DSLRs,
Ive seen a Sony and wondered why they hadnt been mentioned before?
Buy SONY ALPHA A230 WITH 18-55MM LENS | 10 megapixel digital slr camera - Specification | Comet

the nikon as mentioned
Nikon D60 Digital SLR Camera - Black: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

The Canon
Canon EOS 450D Digital SLR Camera Kit: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

The Canon seems popular but more expensive and the Nikon looks bulky,
any advice welcome.

Have a look at the 1000D review and samples galleries.

Re: Camera again

The 1000D is a slightly lower model then the 450D then,
A lot have said the 450D its just im unsure what the big difference is between the bridge and dslr cameras for people like me,
Ive got a mate with a 450D and im hoping to get my hands on that this weekend for a play.

Re: Camera again

a DSLR will be much much better than a bridge camera all day long. A bridge camera is still a pocket point n shoot camera with inferior lens

Re: Camera again

i use a DSLR in work and i have a bridge camera at home. the SLR gives a much better cleaner picture with much more depth - for a digital image that is! it's all in the lens.
try taking a photo with an 'old fashion' SLR and then taking the same picture with a Digital camera and then compare the two... It's amazing how two dimensional a digital image is. you would never notice until you compared the two. a bit like a false twenty pound note which look real, - until you place it next to a proper one - lol

Re: Camera again

Nikon’s D3000 is best deal for you.Like the D3000, the A230 also doesn't have Live View capabilities. its affordable DSLR and replace the ageing D60 model .Think about Nikon D3000.
