My Trip to Uk Mainland with my 95 WRX

I had an amazing time after leaving my 35mph speed limited island, it was great to get on a motorway. I drove from Portsmouth up to Stafford for a new car alarm to be fitted by SAC Distribution, then onto scoobyworld for a dyno run, then onto scoobyclinic for a spot of minor repairs. Then it was off to Chester for a wedding (any excuse to take the car away) lots of ppl wanted to go for a quick spin and have their picture taken with my car (I was on cloud nine with all the attention). Not many other Scooby's on the motorway, but absoluty loved scoobyclinic they were great. Did have one laugh on the way up was going 70mph when a Seat Ibiza full of "kids" went past laughing and waving, so just a quick blip on the right hand pedal and they were behind me and didn't see them again . I did over 1,100 km on that weekend away and loved every minute behind the wheel.

now you know why JD moved over here, open roads and scoob's mix well, the Rock and scoob's don't,mine spent a week there,it wasn't happy being "restricted" by that poxy speed limit!!

Re: My Trip to Uk Mainland with my 95 WRX

Mine has only had exhaust and induction changed so its not too bad at the low speed's I have put the baffle plate in my exhaust as she can be heard from a mile away, not good for over here more police speed traps than you can imagine.
Had a great time in the Peak District zoomed out the sat nav screen and gave her some stick in the open country but only as far as the speed limit of course

Re: My Trip to Uk Mainland with my 95 WRX

That would just be embarassing for me as like i said virtually standard only got 250HP at the flywheel according to my scoobyworks run.
I think you guys are in a completey diffrent league to me but will watch you guys go for it.
Is there any track's nearby for a track day???
