Skyline GTR

Here is a pic of my M8's R34 Skyline GTR in SA

This is my dream car obviously besides a WR1 STi, or at least on this site I have to say that

He has recieved a HKS box fresh from Japan with x2 HKS big boy turbo's, APEX ECU, HKS fuel pump system, HKs induction kit, twin HKS sequential BOV's not to mention the already installed wastegate actuator (sigh.... ) And the list still goes on and on!

It has unbelievable acceleration and handles like a train on rails
It has Enkei 18inch wheels. And what I liked so much is the display screen on the dash which tells you everything from % of throttle use, to boost, to how much G force the car is exerting on you! And that is just to mention a few things!

It sounds the mutts nuts has it has a full decat HKS exhaust system on it....

He used to own a Scooby so will get him to come check our site out

All I can say is when I grow up I want one

Looks very nice Daz
It is probably the most popular performance car here in japan.
Some very nice models around town at the weekends.
Also very popular in illegal road racing that goes on here during the summer nights
Some guy's claiming silly BHP figures, but I believe them

There's a garage in Sendai that specialises in them.
There are more on that forcourt than you can wave a stick at :!:
All in very nice condition with low miles.

They hold their price pretty well even here, by Jap standards anyway
Example from catalogue - GT-R, 2.6Litre, 2000 model, 21,000k (only 13,000 miles)
Price - 4.82 million :!: :!: Yen that is about 25,300.

Can source one for you when your ready

Have you seen the new Skyline, OMFG :!: :!: Can't believe that they have made it look like an old guys car

Cool.

Hi Guys and Mrs Cat

Unfortunately didn't get to drive it but it is definately my aim to get one eventually

Hi Cool I might take you up on sourcing one for me sometime, so you say about 25k for a good 2000 low miler GTR?

There is a company called Abbey Motorsport, www.abbeymotorsport.co.uk

They specialise in Skylines in the UK, was thinking of paying them a visit as they are based in Surrey.

The old guy and myself are thinking of going half half in a new STi but now would like to check out skyline

Does anyone know what insurance thinks of skylines, would probably pay out my ass every month  :x

Skylines are well known to be the ultimate Jap Racer....I mean you can tune the hell out of them and they take it with open arms. I have watched Rocket Ronnies GTR up at Ten of the Best and the Bloody thing is Mental goes like a rocket

I have personally never been one for he big style Jap Racer (Skys, Supras, Fairladys etc etc) but do respect what these monsters can do Quin has a top example there though
