very disapointed

Was waiting all week to go pick up my new wagon from blackpool, we set off 160 mile round trip and when we got there it looked gleaming, the car sales man gave us the keys to look it over but thats where it all went wrong.
The engine had a bit of smoking which didn`t look too good , the exhaust had loads of water coming out of it all the disks looked worn , cambelt needed doing , the sales man offered us our deposit back and i left very disapointed.
so still looking for a scooby, think am going to look for one with a bit more money maybe up to 3.5k to 4k instead of 1500 and see what i can get must be patient.

Re: very disapointed

If you`re patient enough will definately be worth the wait-i looked at loads but didnt drive any of the ones that werent in good enough condition to start with as its waay too easy to get carried away and buy something that you`d regret later.

not got a great amount of money, anything from 1500 to 3500 anything else open minded as long as it is a sound car and not likely to cause loads of trouble

Hi, dont think of it as a loss... think of it as a victory buddy

You walked away... saved yourself 1500 quid on a lemon

Trouble is we often get lead by our hearts not our heads when it comes to our Scoobys...

Moto man says.... 'There are plenty of fish in the sea'

Will also keep my eyes open for you mate
