my new wagon

This is my new 2.0 turbo nothing special but looks ok. 95k miles ,97, fsh looks clean just needs a few touches, i`ve never owned a scooby before picking it up sat , just wondering if i paid over the odds i paid 1400 for it , just looked clean and tidy and drives ok no knocks but didn`t put my foot down on test drive tho.

Re: my new wagon

Thanks guys , only problem i`ve got is i know nothing about car engines , only thing concerning me is on the list of receipts there is no mention of cam belt change and on a 306 gti i once owned it snapped costing me 2k.
Also what simple mods would you recommend to complement the car without looking too boy racer, if you know what i mean.

Re: my new wagon

tough one about the cam belt, unless you pop the cover off n check for marks on the pulleys, normally white paint or equivalent if thats there you can pretty much rest easy..
as for mods, you goin for asthetics,to beautifie the beast or discreet mods that only you know you have??..

Re: my new wagon

its always a risk bidding on ebay but you have to take risks sometimes, seen the car and it looks sound, feel like little school boy now waiting for xmas waiting to pick it up. never owning a scooby before makes it more exciting ,

thanks for positive comments
