Good find mate. AE86 has become a total cult car over here because of this Manga/Anime.

Pics below are of the mountain they are racing down. Went there last month. Real name is 榛名山 (Mount Haruna) but in the manga it is called Mount Akina.

My daughter is mad about Anime... she is 21 and studying Computer Forensics in University... and fascinated by Japanese culture

Before I took up boxing and Muay Thai I studied Mas Oyama Karate (many years ago)... Kyokushinkai (as seen in 'You only live twice')

Mas Oyama was part Thai, born in Korea and did Muay Thai, then Judo, he became all Japan champion in Judo!, then took up Shotokan... he then set up his 'way of ultimate truth' school of knock down full contact karate'... half thai boxing half shotokan and other traditional styles

Cool no one would mess with with you they handy to have went to karate when I was younger about 15-16 think it was was going for my black and didnt even go for it in the end would like to get back into it somtime one of the lads do be competing mad in Thai boxing and my cousin in Tai Won Do might have spelled that wrong

Boxing and Thai Boxing keeps me out of trouble... allthough at my age, should perhaps be thinking of taking up crown green bowling or bird watching! or driving a Honda
