Advice with price for Turbo Estate please

Hi guys,

I've got a 1996 P reg, Impreza Turbo estate for sale. I only got it the other day, but have since got another car that I think I can drive for a year and sell it on and should equal a years free motoring, so wondering what this car is worth.

It's done 120K with the odd few scuffs here and there, bot nothing eye catching.

I must admit, I read the advert wrong and it's MOT has already ran out and with the other car I have just purchased I dont want to spend out needlessly. I suppose I could stick it through for the £50 and it might go through. So if anyone could give a price with & without mot that'd be good. (I know it's hard to do, depending what needs doing

Any help would be greatfully appreciated.).

Mate uve already asked here http://www.subaru-impreza.org/bbs/sh...930#post270930

P.s. impreza without a mot to most would be worth nothing as why not mot it youve gotta read between the lines???

I got this car wrong, it has MOT until June and 6 months Tax.

It also has well over £5000 worth of receipts excluding the ones like MOT etc.

Can't keep it as I got another car last week which was too good a price to turn down. Its on pistonheads for £1895.

most receipts with these cars equate to alot of money... discs/pads/tyres soon mount up!

My guess private would be around the 2.3 mark... sell for 2.6k and see what happens...

All the best

Strangely enough i bought mine from up north-prices round here at the time were shocking for the equivalent car(low mileage/good condition)in fact looked at a few round leeds/bradford ended up buying this from wigan.

i would say 1200 without 2000 with i would consider an mot to maximise a sale its not the sort of car you would buy without an mot and quite a high mileage on original engine this obviously effects the price .this is my opinion and you could possibly get more but the wagon does not have the same used value as the saloon you will find .
