i just heard on the news his helli chopper crashed near his home...



didnt say if he was on bpard or not...

Seems theres still no confirmation (BBC) but it is looking all but inevitable.

Sad to lose such a great driver and champion. My thoughts are with his wife and children.

Latest reports are that 4 people including colin Mcrae and his son have been killed in this tragic accident, i can only prey to god this is not so, my heart goes out to the families of all involved, i am not lying when i say i am crying while i am typing this. god bless you colin R.I.P.

Unbelieveable......he's one of those people you just can't believe has gone this way. You almost feel that your heroes will live forever. If it wasn't for watching him in the 90's I wouldn't have bought my car. The man was a genius, can't believe he's not around anymore..........

Colin Mcrae, his son, a fmaily friend and a 6 year old boy confirmed dead. Nothing is more tragic than the death of young children. My heart goes out to all the families involved in this awful tragedy.
