Question for all scooby owners

I have owned My scooby for less then a week and it seems every time I take her out there is a corsa/saxo or some other small car trying to sit 2 inches off my rear bumper, is this a common problem you all suffer with on the roads ?

Fraid so and I'm so far north we don't even have roads or traffic!

This week I've had a Renault 'tranny' van thing up me a**e and today had a Mitsubishi Colt with a spoila there while heading to work.

I take it they're all wannabe Scoobykillers.com drivers Gimps.

Problem with that in a rural area with only a few miles between places you seldom have good overtaking places and you may not be going that far anyway so you end up blatting away to find some hold up a mile down the road and the smirking t**t in you're mirror. Even worse is you know you've the power for good OTs but if you've a real chav donkey behind you he'll be at all kinds of stupid (and dangerous) things to keep up - not sure I want their mistake on my conscience.

So being a 'mature' driver I mess them about a bit. Stick to just under the limit in built up areas to slow them down and if you can't safely loose them basically keep them behind ya at all costs. This has the benefit of them admiring you Scoob and knowing there's nothing they can do about it.

You seen the advert - "the car in front's a Toyota' well I'm adapting it and having this put on my rear number plate -

'Impreza - the car behind is yours!'

Fact - If it has Subaru/Impreza/WRX/STI etc on the back, they all like to get a closer look inside your boot.

I get it and mine don't even have a turbo

Saw a film like that last night!!!!!!!
I took the badges off mine, too much attention to it, then painted it the maddest orange I could find, but with any Impreza, people tend to show loads of interest, and will race or attempt to.....I was test riding a Kawasaki ZZR1400 the other day and Corsa boy thought he could race me, after I stopped wheelying and got into third he looked quite nice as a speck in my mirror, get used to every a-hole tailing you, Imprezas are a-hole indicators, they turn other drivers into irrational bungholes!!!!!

I normally just let them pass as its far easy to laugh at them trying to pass at 60 to 75mph and when going up a hill than worrying to much about how or what they drive behind me..

I get lots of looks and people thinking they'll get me to race.. A about a week ago coming back from Zen I had a few people in a CRX and a Civic VTI (I think, it had a loud exhaust) egging me to go and put my foot down, just waved them by..

I think that annoys them more often than out running them
