ive been offered the chance to earn £84,000 for 6 months work , but its in iraq, it will consist of put up prefab buildings for the american army, would never have to leave secure area, and work for 6 weeks then get 3 weeks off all flights payed for and tax free, now what would you do.

Well I think that you need to pull the family together and discuss with them,
You may be safe over there but you need to consider what your family may be feeling and thinking why you are away in a place that to us via TV does not look that safe.

Ask yourself why is the money that good - Reason it is high risk.

Consider ALL and EVERYTHING before making a decision

money may be good.... but I dont think I'd risk it.....is anything really secure... :?

I'd miss my son too much for that... time is precious, six months may not seem long, but to kids and the family, it may be a lifetime....

End of the day its up to you and your family.....

Make sure you really think it through...!!

Fair play to you - good luck with it but im sure youll enjoy it... just think of the money - what a great boost to the finances - take the missus on a long cruise or something when you get back

Good luck. I look forward to seeing you here in 6 months, telling us your tales of joy.

BTW, I've heard it's the Americans you have to watch out for .
