renewing car insurance
Im currently with Adrain Flux (don't recommend them at all) which insured me with Markerstudy and its due to expire on the 10th Feb all mods declared except remap as it wasnt remapped at the time and it was £480 last year.
I started calling a few from the insurance list on this forum ended up going with AIB all mods and remap declared £497.97 but only if I change my date to 3rd Feb and it will be with Markerstudy otheriwse if I wait until the 10th it goes up to £585. I asked the guy "isnt it illegal to have 2 policy open at the same time" he stated "because im with the same insurance company Markerstudy its perfectly fine as Adrain Flux is just a broker and as long as you inform them you dont want to renewal it will be fine" That is what I did, but I am about to find out what AIB are really like because none of the documention included the mods on the car and it had the wrong model along with the amount of years I had been driving. So far the customer service is really friendly. I'll report back once I hear from them.

Re: renewing car insurance
AIB have now sent me the correct documents, but no mention of the proof of no claims. Looks like I will be calling them on Monday.

Re: renewing car insurance
I hate Flux, they gave me a years free insurance after I recorded them calling me a dick, they hadnt put the phone down properly,
I always have to shop around with the mods etc.

Re: renewing car insurance
Just got an email from Adrian Flux stating my insurance is due for renewal and it will not automatically renewal (which is correct as I cancelled it) they have also sent me my renewal quote which is £568.09 and its with Markerstudy Ltd (what a surprise).
Why do I get the impression that insurance brokers are lazy.

Re: renewing car insurance
wow, just got a text of Adrian Flux telling me to call them if I want my insurance to continue as they have not had any instruction to do so. Considering I called them a few weeks ago and told them not to renewal, idiots.
