Saloon wings on 04 wagon

Hi,

I've been offered some wr1 wings for my 04 wagon. I know they fit, and i know the saloon has a wider track, but how much wider is it, and will the wings look daft?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Saloon wings on 04 wagon

Assume you are talking about the front wings only ?
WR1 wings are the same as the STI wings

Yes mate front wings only. Do you know the difference in track width? between the wagon and saloon?

OK, i just found the difference in track between the saloon and wagon is 45.8mm, so thats 23mm difference on each side, i don't think thats too much of a difference, what do you think?

Re: Saloon wings on 04 wagon

the wings will bolt straight on, might look a bit odd without the rear matching.
You would have to replace the rear arches to make it match which would be a lot of cutting and welding. Can be done and not too difficult.

Re: Saloon wings on 04 wagon

thats what Iwas saying. The front and rear arches would be different. If you're happy with it then go for it..... Its all individual taste. I'd have to cut the rear doors and wings to match.
