uprated fuel pump

uprated fuel pump

Hi everyone

If i got my my00 classic remapped would i need a uprated fuel pump, like walbro 255lph?

not really nessecary bud,ran mine for 4 years on standard pump,it was starting to struggle when i went over the 300 mark..so stuck a 255 in back in March.

not planning on over 300 yet. just full stainless steel exhasut, induction kit and re map.

just curious, what sort of bhp would it be running? after full stainless steel exhaust, induction kit and re map? i thought 260?

hard to say,all depends on the mapper used,fuel,quality of parts,humidity(weather)..if its standard and not been mapped power will be 218 ish,if it's been PPP'd it'll be around 240ish,no 2 cars will give the same result..

260/260 is about a ball park for a remap on a decat, can be less or more though, as said each car is different, mine was down on power by a few bhp but up by 30 on torque.

fuel pump will be fine till you change the turbo from a td04. injectors will be fine till over 350.

I like 260 just right for a daily round here. probably later on down the road get bigger turbo etc... thanks guys!

Same question, but on a '08 STi.

Currently stock, planning remap and new exhaust - would like to get somewhere close to 350/380 (is it even possible, or does it require other changes?)
