1998 wagon water in boot help!!!

as title my new car has another problem water where spare wheel is about 2" in three days has anyone else had this problem if so can you please point me in the right direction

the carpet is wet on the rear right hand side in the boot if this helps

It's possible the right hand seal around the light is worn or the the tail-gate rubber.

If not the light make sure the rubber all around the tailgate is sealed tight when the tailgate is closed. Sometimes a rubber mallet to push the flange out helps make a tighter seal.
