Exhausts

:?: A quick question for you all , are all/most of the HP figures
correct regarding de-cating your motor ????

Some companys are quoting 20hp for the middle cat & 40/50 for
the front one   now i knew you could get some
big gains from taking your cat off but " christ " that seams alot
to me ................

As far as I know a full decat could get you about 25bhp...........

So as you may know, the ppp for the STi is 2000

That includes a new zorst system with centre decat and new back box, new ecu and uprated fuel pump.
It comes with a certificate of fitment (make sure you get that) and adds 40bhp over the standard STi, and is accepted by subaru as a mod that will not invalidate the warranty.
you should inform your insurance as with any mod, if anything happens and an assessor sees the car and they havent been notified they may void the insurance

Hi Mr Freeze - as per the comments above really

Don't always believe what some people or companies quote you 40-5 BHP extra from a front pipe decat, bless em sounds like wishful thinking. Depending on supporting mods you can get anything from 15-30BHP with a FULL Decat
