clear headlights on a bugeye

sorry to ask have looked for a thread but cant find one which probably means it is so simple im being thick is it possible on a 2001my bugeye to split the headlight and remove the orange indicator lens and then replace the bulb with a silvertec think it will clean up the front of the car no end .. any help would be appreciated

if you did split the O/E unit,you'd still have to have a lense filter in it...

i know subaru did a conversion for the blobeye scoobs..

detango u mean ?
If you take the orange part out you may get away with a silvertech type bulb, where it looks silver but glows orange,
If thats what you mean ?

Headlight must go into a heated oven.

cheers for the replies im a propper newbie to this and diddnt explain my self sounds like de tangoing is exactly wot i want to do but using the misses oven sounds extreme does any custom garage offer this service prefferably nr dorset
