Caliper Painting Poll

Hi,

I'll be picking up some subaru 4 pots from a my00 in a couple of days to replace my high performance 2 pots.

I want to paint the calipers before their fitted, so what colours?

I've got a McRae with the original gold wheels, but these might be replaced by some other gold wheels if the 4 pots don't fit under them.

So let me know what you think? or any advice you have.

Cheers,
Spanky.

Spanky, fit some braided hoses too, that will help stop you even quicker.

Not that expensive either, and as you are draining and refilling the system its the time to do it

knockout mate, excellent move.
Get yourself some DOT 5.1 fluid too.

If you look up the "technical general" forum just recently I did a write up on fitting braided hose and the tools you will need.

Make sure you fit new copper washers too

That would be a great help, I haven't been able to find this out from any1. According to the sidc faq my wheels are 6.5 x 16 inch eight spoke gold Speedline Safari alloy wheels.

Cheers,
Spanky.

I'll speak to my mate who bought my old my95 which had these same wheels and ask if he can drop one up to me and I'll try it on my RB5 and let you know.
