Fitting a P1 Splitter...

Hi all,

Ive got a Plastic P1 front splitter for my Facelift... Its being painted early next week, how are they fitted? Any hints or tips??

4 handed job


fit with double sided tape,a few screws and a very very thin bead of silicon to make the join water tight

Im assuming the silicone is to prevent water making it to the double sided tape?

Is it a genuine one or a replica as if i remember right the reps have no cover for towing eye thats removeable which could make things interesting,also if its a replica one it`l need shaping a bit-had some right fun with a mates fitting his an making spacers an allsorts to get it to look perfect-looked mint in the end though.(ebay special)
