Theres alot of info about these on the board but heres my experience.

I bought a VTA (Vent to autmoshere) around 1 month ago - Fitted it and yesterday i took it off.... Some love these things others (like me) found they produced lag in the boost...

I bought a HKS Super SQV (loud) from a good dealer (STI Racing)

Some say the increase BHP others say they dont.... Whatever they do its not much either way so that shouldnt really be a reason....

Im sure this will be a hot topic.... They sound great too

VTA Dump valves (Vent to atmosphere) are a matter of personal choice and don't do a great deal to alter the actual performance of the car.

What VTA's are good for is producing nice pops/bangs as they cause the car to overfuel slightly....real nice sound and I've heard is even better with a decat exhaust on!
