Boot release

Where is the boot release on classic impreza wagon.

I recently changed my standard gl boot for a turbo boot with spoilers.

i noticed while working on the turbo boot that there is a boot release attached to the latch mechanism.

I checked the standard boot out of curiosity and it has the same boot release attached to it.

I looked all over my car and cant find the switch.

Does the gl have one? if not why does it have the release attached to the latch?

Re: Boot release

I thought the gl had a boot release the same as all turbo models.
On the turbo models it is next to the fuel filler flap release.
it will be quite easy to install.
if you get stuck pm me and i will explain more.
