exhaust POP & BANG LOL

how do you get your exhaust popping? like i've heard on other impreza's? i've got a ninja back box & afterburner centre de cat. but can't honestly say i've ever heard my car do it :cry:

Steve, Its the downpipe that makes the popping possible.
Its extremley unlikely that any car will pop and bang with a cat in it. Once you change that you should be poppin' like a good 'un. :P

think a dump valve will be next, i see so many negative chats about them though :?

As per what Olly has said Steve you will get loads of pops and bangs with a FULL decat. Also remember it takes a little time for the pipes to carbon up which also helps. A VTA Dumper will help your cause no end.........

I've always had one Steve, its never given me any problems.
I can't say that they don't because its obvious they do on some or some types of dumpvalve don't work very well.
BUT I have an early Scoob with the stronger maff sensor, which does seem to matter alot.

Thats a done deal - oh yea Steve - if you want noise then don't Lag the D/pipe

I lagged my first pipe and it was a lot quieter than my current unlagged one

Mine pops and bangs and i still have the down pipe cat on ....not a lot and not all the time

only started when i had the ninja b/b fitted though

hoping to have a full de-cat very soon though :twisted:

olly's sent my down pipe to me it should arrive 2moro. can't wait, going to be like a little kid with new toy. popping & banging here i come, & nelson i will get it un lagged ( hope the guy knows what i mean by that :shock: )
