Re: Fuel pump

Hey Ive literally had a scooby for just undera week and I know very little about them. The guy I bought it off told me it has a Walbro fuel pump. Can anyone tell me the benefits of this compared to a stock one?

Also where abouts can I find it in my car? Mine is a 93' WRX turbo import if that helps.

Re: Fuel pump

Hi,

The benefits: Allows more fuel to be delivered if you run higher boost or larger injectors.

Can find the pump in the boot, drivers side, under a plate. The plate is right up against the back seats so can be a pain to get to, so back seats came out when i had to get at mine. Lift plate and the pump/filter assembly is under there.

For advice on changing pump look here;

Walbro Fuel pump replacment

edit;
Pete ya badger! were a shade quicker than me there.
