Try Afterburner Vortex and Ninja

At long last I managed to buy a new exhaust system at Billing on Saturday . I've struggled for sometime with what exhaust system to buy  , CAT17's Afterburner sounds superb and Newie's Ninja sounds equally as good but not quite as loud  . Trouble is I've got a full decat and was worried that the Afterburner would be too loud.

I camped next to Dan and Mark at Billing and they both had the Afterburner with the full decat and god they were very loud , so my worry was justified. Speaking to the helpful guys at Scoobyworld they suggested I tried the Afterburner back box (which now looks like the Blitz ) with the Ninja centre section which has a small silencer.

Fitted it at the show after borrowing some tools, then fired her up  . I can only describe the noise from the exhaust as superb . You get all the burble without the harsh ripping noise at high revs  - WELL PLEASED.

Hope this helps.

I would not worry..... ... Give them a call and ask to speak to the service manager.

Tell him YOU ARE THINKING OF changing the back box to an STi one... see what his reaction is....

Afterburner and Ninja very interesting :?

I'm running a Scorpion decat centre with an afterburner back box and also sounds amazing, but no silencer in my centre piece

How do you reckon it affects the performance of the car, wouldn't 2 different makes upset the balance and hinder performance a bit :?

Just asking because it doesn't feel like I got any extra power from the Afterburner :?
