LIGHT BEAM ADJUSTMENT

Stuck guys on the lights its strange want to raise the height of the lights trying to do it against the white wall at home, they were fairly bad when I got the car tried a bulb upgrade think its a philips xenon plus like 60% more light so they say but beams are so low they like shining 8-10ft and even if I put them on full beam other drivers dont even flash back cause they still so low already tried the 8mm bolt think it was at small turns first just to see any moving and the both of the units not moving by much to raise the beam and its at its highest now it does not go any higher dont want to break them but I think the last person that had the car broke the adjusters in them cause can hear it clicking out now cant go any higher what can I do any way round this or just buy 2 new head light units any info be great or could I strip it down and fix it?????

aha,the adjuster problem...lol....
best bet is to remove them from the car n fix..ie pop the adjuster back in to its seated position..one of mine had cracked,so spoke to my local scoob dealer, said he could get me a replacement, but it only comes with the light n all the gubbins....154 in vat...lol
