06 Rear Badge Removal........

anyone know how to go about removing the rear SUBARU STARS badge on an 06?
ive noticed its got two sort of metal pins going through into the boot. but any ideas on how to get it off or maybe just remove the inner stars part seperate from the chrome surround?

cheers for that pete.
i tried the old dental floss routine on the front one and it stretched and snapped..or just cut slices into my fingers. hehe
had to use a real thin knife in the end but it scratched the plastic behind. as the rear is direct on the paint work... well.. dont think i'll risk it!!

i might just try getting the centre badge out of the chrome instead.

that glue is a f%^&er
