Modifying Bugeye lights

Hi all

I am looking to modify the hideous headlights on my Bugeye, im currently looking at a set of Jun Eyebrows on Ebay (item number 320101434508), is it possible to modify the headlight so the indicators are in the place of the sidelights, thus doing away with the sidelights?, is it legal?.

Any advise gratefully received.

Darren

Im not so keen on the morette conversion, looks like I will have to stump up some big cash for a set of Prodrive headlights.

Cheers

I just picked these up off Ebay ( http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=130097754472 ) have not seen many like this around, these definately look better than the ones I have at the moment.

Well, I received the lights from Ebay yesterday and what a poor state they are in, they have excessive amounts of sealant around the lenses, stonechips, scratches, a small split on the lens, paint spills and dirt inside, these will not be fitted to my car.

I am now in a dispute with the seller for a refund and unfortunately it would appear that he is not willing to co-operate and has suggested I list them myself on Ebay to recover my money.

I do have a few tricks up my sleeve though.

Taken from a 02 model, in full working order and excellent condition.
No mention of scratches & a small split on the lens

His response when I stated that his description said "Excellent condition" was "well they are 5yrs old".

Do you know if the lenses are removable?.

I have just sent this e-mail to him:

I am asking you for the refund, you have sold me goods that are falsely advertised and are in a poor condition. It is your responsibilty as a seller to refund me the money, not for me to re-list them on Ebay.

On your return address label you have the name "New Look Cars" this suggest to me that you are a registered business and under the consumer rights act I am entitled to that refund.

Darren
