Question Does anyone know....?

As someone with a non turbo scooby, i thought i'd invest in a turbo bonnet, STI 8 scoop and 22B vents. So they are being sprayed tomorrow (Monday 11th), my main concern when i fit the bonnet is that rain/water/anything in the air will get in to places it shouldn't, what does everyone think on this? Someone told me the vents are blanked off anyway on the turbo's but i'm not sure. And if they are, what do i blank them off with?

Could have sware I answered this... The Turbo's vents are blanked off with plastic covers. I know of hoards of scoobs with these covers removed. Type R also never had the covers and I never had any problems with that.

You have answered this question Bob, on south west scoobies forum. I posted on there as well. OK i'll probably just leave the vents open, what about the scoop?
