Exclamation Afterburner on a n/a impreza

I'm thinking of getting an afterburner for my 99 non-turbo impreza because at the moment it sounds like a vacuum cleaner with the standard exhaust! However i'm worried that, because its not a turbo and i'm only changing the backbox and leaving the cat in etc, it might not be very loud? Does anyone have any experience of this or know how it will sound? I don't want to buy it, fit it and then there be no difference. Any help would be appreciated

think any zaust upgrade like that would make the car louder Afterburner should increase the noise considerably... turbo or not..

Good luck leep us informed... Andrew Whitcombe had a Magnex fitted on his previous non turbo and that sounded pretty damn nice

I've been looking on scoobyworld and can't decide whether to go for the afterburner for 249 or the ninja cat back for 294. What do you guys think? Would i benefit from having the cat to backbox pipe or not?

AARGGH! Exhaust came today, unwrapped it and the tail pipe was out of shape on the end, obviously it had been dropped. Anyway i tried to undo the bolts on the car to seperate the two pipes and they won't move! I spent hours trying to undo them, sprayed loads of WD40 on but they won't budge.
