Question Water Wings????

I've got an MY00 fitted with the Prodrive styling pack and I have an odd problem, my rear spoiler sounds like it's filled with water! Is this normal? BTW the brake light works ok.

TIA

Ian

@ UK_Dave - yes mate that's exactly what I hear! I was stood on the drive waving my bootlid up and down last night. I must look nuts

@ Tricia - I'm thinking of changing it for a clear wing and then putting goldfish in it. It'll entertain the other drivers on the M3

where is this? is the arms holding the lid down or in the spoiler? didnt think there would be any room for water in the spoiler?

think theyre hollow gareth had a mate get pissed off with the brakelight wire rattling around an banged a load of expanding foam in to hold it tight although went a bit mad with the foam and added a few more aerodynamic curves to it-u know like a tyre thats over inflated pmsl

Well, I took the bolts holding the wing to the boot out at lunch and promptly got soaked by about 2 litres of water! It look like it sneaks in through the brake light mounting.

A bit of mastik at the weekend should see to that
