Talking Exhaust upgrade...

I'm looking to do just this basic modification and then have the car re-mapped and that'll be it for me

I was wondering has I have the cat back Ninja system, what to do with the rest of the exhaust?? After talking to bob he says to get rid of the down pipe and cat and that'll do lovely... Question is, what do I get?

Are their Ninja replacements for the downpipe? I would want to get a sports cat as its about 1 or 2bhp difference compared to the straight through pipe...

Anyone got any suggestions? Oh and would it be worth while to get a 3" pipe for all the way through rather than what's on there now? I keep reading that 3" is best for the car??!?!?

Phill

I saw this as well - seems like a bargin - I bought a T75 sport cat with the rest of my system (except backbox) from Power Engineering and that was 500+!!!

I went for system with sport cat to avoid MOT problems and all that!

the ninja sports cat down pipe is a bargain. i presume you already have a straight through centre pipe with no cat? if not this is also a must. i think the ninja centre you can get with or without a silencer. i'm running a full decat, 3" downpipe, 2.5" vortex after burner centre pipe (no silencer or cat , straight through) and ninja back box. just one warning...it's effing loud!

I have the cat still in the car, hence the sports cat and the question of do I need to get a center section as well and I think that answer is, Yes!!

I figure just having the sports cat will make the car much nicer to drive, being more responcesive and so on... I dont really want to make it any louder than it already is, unless its on full boost or something Would probably get the resonator and no cat as the sports cat with the Ninja apparently is more than enough
Here is a link:

would both of those be ok and what improvements could I notice?

Good chose Phill I have no cats but do have the resinator center section and firestore backbox and mines not to loud. Yours with these items will of course be even quieter.

You will feel it M8... The turbo spools up much quicker due to no back pressure and thats why you feel the kick as you put you foot down. When you have the car mapped you will feel an even bigger kick...
