Windscreen wipers 2003 STi ?

anybody ever upgraded his windscreen wipers on his scoob ? Are there any better wipers available than the standard Subaru ones ?

I think it was PIAA that made some really good wiper blades... Not quite sure. But i believe they make a set out of a certain rubber/plastic that's more plyable, and less prone to drying out..

That might be a good choice as with winter here, rubber needs to be reasonably "flexible" as temperatures go under -40C sometimes... 8)

We should see if we can find a european supplier... mine are drying out again after 10 montshs...

I've sent an email to PIAA UK. I'll see if they can supply any.

There were quite a few suppliers in Europe, but none in Finland of course :evil:

Wonder how those silicon wipers are doing in heavy frost though.

Managed to get the PIAA's from one of the distributors on the list of PIAA UK.

Took them in Carbon look. Not perfect as look.

As long as the work well ! They're not cheap at all :rant:

Can i ask what you paid for them? As well as to who? Are they worth the money?

Can't remember exactly, but I think 16 GBP for the big one and 8 or so for the small one.

Not cheap, but looking at the performance and the build quality, worth it.

Plus, once you got the wipers, you can just replace the rubber afterwards, which is much cheaper.
