They are different mate, look at the two pics from Alton to see what I'm meaning.. I think the P1 bumper looks better than the one I have on my Type R.. I want one!

See what I mean?

Its around the spot lights that's the main differences I can see.. The bit at the bottom (the splitter?) looks a lot better, I like the whole difference..

I wouldnt trust Ebay for a pair of shocks so I wouldnt worry about that.. ScoobyClinic bit steep, will see what Foresters can get me one for... £380, is that just for the splitter or the whole bumper?

Thanks Mr Freeze

Yep in 99 the front bumper was slightly modified, being a little deeper and with just one vane (instead of two) the STi5 has the one vane.

Gonna have to change the bumper then Prefer the newer model so it has to be done What you think the bumper might be, price wise? What's the standard splitter cost you reckon?

Where could I find one?? Are they standard fittings to all year models or would I have problems fitting a newer model bumper on??

Hi Phil

You could ask Grade A Subaru Breakers or Foresters.

The fog light covers look all wrong to me and so the front of the car looks wrong.. The later bumper looks so much better and I think the P1 splitter on it, would be the icing on the cake

That doesnt sound to bad a price to be honest.. I assume that's not 'painted'? Does anyone think it would 'fit right on'?
