Question turbo angle

I've been look at some reconditioned turbos just in case mine is on its last legs and there is something that is confusing me.

How can you tell if its a 90 degree or standard turbo

thanks in advance.

Re: turbo angle

your's will be front entry TD04,a straight swap is pretty straight forward, just watch the bottom oil feed pipe can be a bit of a tit to put back on

Re: turbo angle

when you switch the turbo its always worth getting it dyno'd before you give it large. while they should be the same, there are odd differebces and need to make sure its runnign right before giving it large.

Re: turbo angle

no need to remove the engine
to get to the bolts at the rear of the turbo, you have to drop the cat/decat simple
