Angry sudden non-start : help needed, please !

hi guys, hope you can help

got home from xmas/new year holiday, and started the scooby perfectly, first time. M reg impreza wrx classic

next morning, she just cranks over - no fuelpump noise - hotwiring the fuelpump still gives no start, so i'm assuming no spark too ..

i checked all the fuses, the turbotimer & alarm/immobiliser are doing as they should [but i removed the turbotimer & hotwired the immobiliser in case], and still no fuelpump / startup.

any clues on the sudden overnight stoppage?

any other fuses lurking, aside from the driver's kick panel & under the bonnet [all present & correct!]

where is the ECU located, in case that's jacked it in?

is ther an inertia switch that might have tripped - if so, where?

just off to try an ECU reset, then kick its ar*e if it doesn't start [it didn't!]

let me know

Re: sudden non-start : help needed, please !

what is hotwired ?
could be something like the fuse for the fuel system or the relay(very common failure) for the pump as you cant hear it kick in.
