Poor running

Hi All

I have searched through the threads and read up on a few things but still not very wiser so thought I'd post my problem here, please bear in mind I am new to owning the car.

I have a 1997 impreza sport which has a running problem, when the throttle is held between 2000-3000 revs the engine keeps cutting out once the rev counter drops to below 2000 it then runs again, if I keep the revs above 3000 it runs fine.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction with this

Re: Poor running

Unpluged the air flow meter when car is running / idling and the engine stopped, plugged it back in and car started as normal
