replacing big end bearings

hi all, very new to the subaru flat four engine, so i was just wondering if anyone no's if you can change the big end bearings just by taking the sump off, like any other engine. or is it the case of taking the 2 parts of the block apart, a much bigger job, cheers

strip down and rebuild job im afraid, they have to be matched and spaced properly.
