Re: heater

as above is the car being overcooled as in the temp in dash dropping at all as this could indicate a thermostat prob failing that check for an air lock then if that fails it the water pump

Re: heater

I wouldnt put all these things like holts radweld and all that stuff to stop leaks as it only curing the problem for a small while, then it can get way worse Id rather find where the coolant going then fix the problem, you should check the heater matrix check your floor mats on the footwell drivers and pass side see if damp if so coolant leaking from heater matrix, if you cant see a leak from under the car and it not a leaking heater matrix Id hate to say but could be head gasket and the engine consuming the coolant notice any white smoke out off the exhaust when on boost when engine fully warmed up? if so more than likely head gasket and that would explain the loss of coolant HEAD GASKET BLOWN SYMPTOMS hopefully not the case of HG but the rad could also be the issue
