CEL P0127 which supposedly doesn't exist

CEL P0127 which supposedly doesn't exist

I have a CEL of P0127 on my JDM 01 STi motor, which is apparently Air Intake Temp Too High, but when I spoke to the local Subaru service centre about this they said Subaru do not use this code. I've not been able to find any Subaru-specific info on this code anywhere.
Has anyone out there seen this code, or have any guesses what it might be related to?
Aside from this code, the car runs absolutely perfectly.

I have no subaru-specific info on this code, but code P0127 is "Intake Air Temperature Too High"

maf contains the air temp sensor, but you probably know that also

Correct! the MAF/IAT sensor could have caused the CEL.


P0107 is a common CEL with Nissan cars. Replace the IAT sensor on a Nissan and all is well. No more CEL P0127.
