Re: Not boosting right:S

i know many people on here dont like manual boost controllers. but i had so many problems with not boosting right that i replaced so many new parts and still no joy, in the end i fitted a boost controller and set it to 1 bar and no problems with boost now,
but there must be a problem there in the first place, i would also try plugs first but carefull with the coil packs as if not you will end up having to replace them aswell, like i have just done,,

if the boost controler sorts it then its masking what the real problem is.

were not totaly anti them, its just they tend to get used to increase power cheaply, most arn't ever setup right and can throw the afr right out which in worst case can make the engine lean out.

Re: Not boosting right:S

sounds like your turbo's well and truley shagged then mate, i'd drive it as little as possible till you can get it sorted. prob worth getting it looked at to confirm the turbo is nackered, might be something else.
