Miss on cylinder 4

cel on , there is a miss on cylinder 4
checked plug , leads , all fine
was going to get a new coil pack do you think that this will fix the miss ???
any ideas

ps , seems to be using more fuel than normal
only notice the miss when ideling (sitting around 500 rpm)

sounds like the coil pack has gone,just hope the piston ain't "popped" too..

Swap the coil pack with another cylinder before you go and buy one. If the problem moves then you know it's the pack.

where is the best place to buy a coil pack and roughly how much ??
subaru impreza 2.0l GX 2001 model

just fitted a new coil pack and no diffrence , ideling low and is very shakey anybody have any ideas on what else this could be as i am stumped , what about maf ???? head that could cause ideling problems , where would i find it on my subaru , 2.0l gx model
any help would be great

Bring it to a specialist and get it compression tested that will tell you what exactly is going on and if its somthing more serious
