Angry CEL Light, my fault codes and next step!!!

ok this really sucks, i mean i have had the car since friday night and already im not enjoying this silly read light business!!!

ok I have read over 20 different posts on this, did the tests and here are the results!

first ill tell you what happens

car judders sometimes in 2nd at 4.5k 3rd at 3.5k and 4th at 4.5k now this is not all the time............ after reading posts it looks like a "safe mode"

car ticks over above 1k when coldstarted, normal i suppose but once been driven for say half hour to an hour when pulling up at lights and waiting tick over goes VERY low and sometimes stalls.......

CEL comes on from time to time again not ALL the time but I can get rid of it by dipping clutch under 1K and it goes out and might not come on for a while

ok fault codes i got

24 - Idle Air control solenoid
31 - Throttle Position Sensor
32 - Oxygen Sensor

ok guys hit me with what should be done first and could one of these be causing the others????

thanks

|Jason

if the car stutters when you accelerate hard then usually you can rule out the o2 sensor as it is in open loop during this period and isnt monitored when not in use.

Have you tried looking at the vacuum hoses in the engine bay and the air intake from the filter to the throttle body for leaks as this will give you exactly these symptoms.

The engine may not be receiving the amount of air the mass airflow sensor is telling the ecu causing it to play silly beggars.

the y hose under the intercooler seems to be a prob on some cars so worth whipping the cooler off and having a look. Its easy, just a couple of bolts and a couple of jubilee clips from memory.
