Hesitation

I noticed last night on my way home from school that my scoob has a little hesitation after 5k rpms. It cuts in and out and makes a noise that sounds like valve chatter. Anyone have any idea what this could be? I'm hoping its not something serious. The check engine light isnt on.

So many things for hesitation...Just been down the garage and looking at a hesitating scoob tried everything...in the end found a new dump valve had a break in the seal...But to be honest hesitation could be one of a hundred things.

maybe coil pack? dodgy spark plug? theres a few things to check out lol

I just got back from the dealer. He said that it sounds like some bad petrol. He told me to run some fuel injector cleaner through it.

By the way, she has a 3 year - 36,000 mile warranty.

Just got word from the technician at the dealership that the turbo has gone bad on my car. It should be fixed by tomorrow.

I am really pissed off now. I called the dealer yesterday evening because I hadnt heard anything from them. The service advisor told me the mechanic changed the turbo out but the car still wasnt running right. So, the mechanic has to call the "Subaru hotline" to get some suggestions on what the problem might be. It makes me feel very uncomfortable that they dont have a competent mechanic working on my car. What a crock of shit.
