Fuel cut since fuel change!?!

Hi Guys

Need some tech advice,i own an MY94 STI which used to run on optimax + millers but since the big fire ive had to switch to tesco 99 (still using millers
). Well now my car is overboosting to 1.4-1.5bar (now and again)and its hitting fuel cut ,it used to run spot on at 1.2bar before fuel change!

Ive cleaned all the pipes and boost solenoid (using brake cleaner). Would i need to reset the ecu for this fuel change. No mods have been added since the fuel change so im stuck what to do!

Could be you dont need the millers when using Tesco 99Ron fuel

If thats the case pete then i'll be saving a fortune on using millers

I was thinking of fitting a boost controlling device to hold it 1.2bar,are there safe to use?

or the over-boosting just coincides with the colder weather that we have had since then...................very unlikely that the fuel on its own could be doing this?? suggest you check out your fault codes to see if there's another issue??
