K&N filter issues

so just bought a K&N filter off the beloved eBay and the adaptor flange is to big for my maf, I think the adaptor is off a newer impreza but as I'm new to all this I'm only guessing, so after searching eBay I've found an adaptor for my maf which I think would be classed as a green item, again only guessing, picture below let me know if I'm wrong, the adaptor plate is 76mm where as my filter has a circumference of 95mm, so am I best to buy the adaptor to fit my maf and buy a reducer from 95mm to 76mm to fit it, or has anyone got a adaptor that will fit my maf and filter? thanks in advance!!!

I will never fit a dump valve Eva, the reason for fitting a filter is to hopefully hear a little chatter from the turbo,I used to have a cosworth which did 0-60mph in 4.3 seconds and it used to chatter and I loved the noise so was hoping It will work, my impreza doesn't have a chav back box on either so a little induction note and chatter will full fill my needs, well it cause me problems running wise?????

Re: K&N filter issues

I don't think it will chatter mate on a Subaru even if it does you wont hear it may be on cosworth yes.

But what it will do is give you poor fuel so less millage then what your getting and sooner or later pop your maf. it all so will be sucking in hot air from the engine bay so it will effect the cars performance.

if that good enough reason not to put it on i wouldn't bother with it

FROM WORKS THE REAL DEAL.
