bottom end rebuild

Hey everyone. I have my engine tore down and found the source of the terrible knocking. A rod bearing spun. Im going to do all the work myself. What I am needing is a rebuilt kit. I need Pistons, piston rings, rods, rod bearings, main bearings, oil pump, water pump, and possible crankshaft.

Re: bottom end rebuild

Try and find a engine shop/seller close to you as possible, then if you damage or miss anything off your not waiting for 2 weeks for it to arrive.

Re: bottom end rebuild

I am making a trip to the nearest engine shop this weekend. But a kit will be cheaper and I don't mind the wait for a cheaper price. After I get the kit then I will buy whatever else I need.
Also would I want to pull the rods with the piston out of the top of the block or any other different way.?
